Conquest

Forces, paint, and fiction—documented like field reports, shown like art.

Philosophy

Story-first, table-ready paint

Conquest is a personal log of BattleTech miniatures: how each force reads at arm's length, why the weathering landed there, and what the color choices are trying to say. It's for hobbyists who care about narrative cohesion—not turnaround times or sales funnels.

This is not a commission business. If you share a project idea, it's for fun, collaboration, and inspiration within the community.

Purpose

Conquest is a personal BattleTech painting site. The goal is to treat each force like a small documentary: clear photos, honest paint notes, and enough fiction to make the tabletop feel like a campaign log—not a catalog.

This project is deliberately non-commercial. It is not a commission storefront. Sharing work here is about craft, narrative, and community cross-pollination—inviting other painters to riff on ideas without turning the hobby into a queue.

If you submit a "free project request," you're adding inspiration to a backlog of themes and color stories. There's no obligation, no invoice, and no SLA—just a shared love of big stompy robots with history chipped into the paint.

Pipeline

Upcoming Projects

Painted miniatures and field photography.
  • Shadow Hawk SHD-2H

    Mercenary

    Shadow Hawk SHD-2H

Weathered gunmetal and dust in the panel lines—built to look like it walked off a contract rotation, not a display case. The shoulder chevrons are chipped on purpose to read at tabletop distance.

  • Warhammer WHM-6R

    Federated Suns

    Warhammer WHM-6R

Davion sun-fade on the torso with a cooler shadow on the legs so the silhouette reads as one mass. PPC housings get a subtle heat bloom on the barrels.

  • Locust LCT-1V

    Draconis Combine

    Locust LCT-1V

High-contrast Kurita red with black trim so the tiny frame still pops. Leg joints are dry-brushed to suggest grit without clutter.

  • Atlas AS7-D

    Lyran Commonwealth

    Atlas AS7-D

Lyran parade blues knocked back with oil wash and edge silver—heavy, not glossy. Skull faceplate is a single focal point so the rest can stay restrained.

  • Griffin GRF-1N

    Capellan Confederation

    Griffin GRF-1N

Capellan green with gold accents kept thin so it reads regal, not toy. Jump jet housings get a touch of heat stain at the vents.

  • Marauder MAD-3R

    Wolf's Dragoons

    Marauder MAD-3R

Dragoon wolf gray with a red accent band that ties the PPCs and torso together. Battle damage is stippled, not painted lightning bolts.
